Things I can now say I do not like: getting hit by cars.
Glad to know that the first words out of my mouth were “what the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck, I had the right of way, you had a red light, what the fuck”.
And “what, have you never hit someone before?” when she started freaking out.But how’s the bike? Seriously though - jesus fuck! Glad you weren’t more seriously hurt - no broken bones or anything?
Wheels are fucked, not beyond repair, just whacked hard. Had to carry the bike home, fixed it to a somewhat ridable condition, although I know it’ll make their alignment worse if I do ride it. Sucks, I just got them trued. She said she will pay for that, though. I doubt it, but you know, that’d be sweet. I took out her headlight (and probably dented some shit, I didn’t check). My face hurts real bad because I landed on it, mouth has some cuts on the inside, I was spitting out gravel for a while, miraculously I didn’t break my teeth (which I have a habit of doing pretty well), I had on leather gloves otherwise my hands would be fuuuuucked. No broken bones, maybe a chipped cheek but I can’t tell through the swelling. She had just started to turn right on red going down a hill, so she wasn’t going too fast, but just enough to mow me over like so many unwanted dandelions.
RULES OF THE ROAD, DRIVERS SHOULD FUCKIN’ FOLLOW THEM, JEEEESUS.
